Osaka's primary LGBTQ+ district, centred on Doyama-cho in Kita Ward, with dozens of gay bars, clubs, saunas, and mixed venues packed into a few compact city blocks. Doyama has been the heart of Osaka's queer nightlife since the 1980s and remains one of Japan's most vibrant gay districts.
